What is Flipping? Flipping is buying a property at a discount, fixing it up and selling it to an end buyer/homeowner. Sounds easy but it’s not. Rehabbing is all about Mindset. Knowing the hard truth is essential as flipping is not easy. You need to know your ‘Why’ – why am I doing rehabs. Getting educated is key and never stop learning. Rehabbing is a team sport; you have your plumbers, electricians, carpenters, landscapers, realtors, etc. All in all, flipping houses is risky. But if you do your due diligence, you lower your risk. Another thing is managing your rehab. Here is where you need to be detailed oriented and moving your project along. Know your timeline – how long it takes to do the plumbing, electricals, the inspection, etc.
